A new report the Brookings Institution’s Metropolitan Policy Program analyzes data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey for the nation’s 100 largest metropolitan areas, provides a snapshot of the new geography of immigration while challenging conventional beliefs about education of immigrants in the workforce.
